Subjective Evaluation of Sound Quality

Before you begin the test, please make sure to review the following instructions and precautions. They also include important information on how to navigate this webpage.

Instructions

Please listen carefully to the presented audio and select the rating that best matches your opinion. The sound quality rating ranges from 1 to 5, where 1 means "Bad" and 5 means "Excellent".

For each sample, the response field will be disabled until you have finished listening to that audio. You must listen to the audio tracks in sequence, starting from Sample 1, and you cannot play the next audio until the current one is finished. You can listen to the audio as many times as you like and can also go back to listen to previous tracks.

This test consists of 72 questions and will take about 15 minutes to complete. Once you have rated all the samples, you can submit your evaluation using the submit button at the bottom of the page. After submitting, you will need to enter the provided Submission ID on the Prolific page.

Precautions

This test is intended to be taken in a quiet environment with full concentration. Please use headphones or earphones and do not change them during the test.

Do not use the browser's back, forward, or reload functions during the test. These actions will discard your inputs so far and change the presented audio.
